Pottery Pig
Help finding a chick lit book ?
I read this book a while ago and I’m trying to think of the title. It has a black cover with a girl who has her pink pig slippered feet up in the air. I believe it is about a newspaper writer who moves from NYC to a small town where her family lives and has to part with her red pottery barn couch. She saves a theatre from being torn down.

But _Baking at Midnight_ author Louise Ross gives you the sense that you’re looking right over Tildy’s shoulder. You’re able to watch Tildy compose her Post-Its to herself, scribble her mind-mapping bubbles and journal entries, and fib away in her emails to Mum and Dad. There are laugh aloud moments like when Tildy tries to hide her marriage breakup from Mum and Dad — who Tildy fears will suffer “early onset incontenience” due to the shock.
And Tildy’s friends are a memorable, bust-up lot — laid back Sunshine whose hairy legs Tildy attempts to bleach, maddening Isa and her New Yaw-ker frankness, Nikov the hunk, and even loveble smug marrieds adopting baby girls from Asia.
This one-off book made me scream with outrage and laugh with delight– my only question was When’s the Movie??!! “
